  1. 1. Describe your personality based on the results of the Color Test last meeting. Do you agree with the result?

I was with color white who were labelled as peacemaker. We don’t like any fights with anyone. We always want to be surrounded with positivity.
I absolutely agree with the result because that is indeed me. I am very quiet and I really don’t like any fights. I noticed when friends share their sentiments over other people, I just listen to them and keep quiet.

    2. Personally, how will you improve relating with the different types of personality, such as, red, blue, white and yellow? Give specific examples.
You have to keep in mind that each and every one of us is different, so you have to learn how to respect them. For color red, since they are goal-getter and stubborn, instead of disagreeing with their ideas, try to suggest of something which will improve theirs. For color blue, since they like to mingle with others, so I just we won’t have any problems with them. Similarly, color yellow are happy people, so we also won’t have any problems with them.

    3. Which of the different theories of personality (Behavioral, Humanistic, Trait, etc) do you agree. Explain.
I agree with the humanistic theories that man is good. Somehow everyone has something good in their heart. You just have to know the person deeper to discover that inner goodness. Aside from that, we all have our needs (Maslow). Whatever needs we have, we should not forget to share what to have to others so that their needs will be satisfied.

    4. With regards to your answer to number 3, how can you apply the theory in your classroom and/or with your students?
As an educator, we have to strive to see the goodness in each of our students. We should not only teach them the lessons, but teach them also to be a good person. We should also strive to find out their needs so that we can give those needs to them. For example, there are those who are in need of love, attention and guidance because they are a product of a broken family, as a teacher you have to give those to them as their second parent.

  2. 1. Describe your personality based on the results of the Color Test last meeting. Do you agree with the result?
Yellow are Fun-Loving. I agree because they have vibrant spirit in them. According BlueHarvest, yellows are self-confident personalities who will challenge anything and everything; authority, rules and established ways of thinking. We persevere as well in our respected fields.

    2. Personally, how will you improve relating with the different types of personality, such as, red, blue, white and yellow? Give specific examples.
Red: Since, they purpose driven and strict. I will respect their space and be attentive for what they have to say. i will be a good follower and contributor as well. At the same time, i will try to encourage them to have a time of relaxation.
Blue: Since, they are melancholic. They have emotionally driven personality. We can open ourselves, since they need to be liked and accepted. They are organized person then we will need to be consistent in everything.
White: They tend to be supportive and agreeable. Also a good listener. I may be able to give the same support as well and will be loyal. I can be a good listener for them as well.
Yellow: Since, yellow are fun loving. I may able to maintain the optimism in the group and to be enthusiastic.

    3. Which of the different theories of personality (Behavioral, Humanistic, Trait, etc) do you agree. Explain.
i agree with behavioral theory because it dealt with the impact you may have with the person. As seen, the theory of B.F. Skinner is based upon the idea that learning is a function of change in overt behavior. Changes in behavior are the result of an individual's response to events (stimuli) that occur in the environment. A person may be mold by the environment he/she is engaged with. In regards, strategies for behavioral approach would gave a chance for improvement or change.

    4. With regards to your answer to number 3, how can you apply the theory in your classroom and/or with your students?
The behavioral theory may be used in classroom activities (behavioral instruction) such as games, drills and simulations, you may integrated the desired behavior needed for the certain activities.

  3. 1. Based on the Personality Test we took in class, I am revealed to be a RED, a Goal-Oriented person. Yes, I agree with the analysis that I have this kind of personality. Since I was young, my idealistic qualities demands perfection in everything I do. Thus, my focus is always on getting the job done with utmost precision as much as possible.

    2. I believe that a goal-oriented person such as myself has a tremendous capacity in influencing other types of personality. With our innate leadership qualities, working with other types of personality would ensure the success of our group’s endeavor. On the other hand, I also believe that working with the others is highly influential on our part as well. For instance, the fun-lovers would surely make us realize that it is sometimes okay to take things lightly; the people-oriented would surely influence our ways of dealing with other people; while the peacemakers would surely make us realize that it is sometimes all right to be passive and submissive.

    3. I agree with Hippocrates’ Theory of Personality Traits. Based on the Personality Test conducted in our class, it was revealed that there are Four Basic Personality Traits: the Choleric (Goal-Oriented), the Melancholic (People-Oriented), the Phlegmatic (Peacemakers), and the Sanguine (Fun-Lovers).

    4. As a teacher, dividing the class into several groups with each members belonging to different types of personality would surely be beneficial to the socio-emotional development of my students. As was mentioned in item number two above, working together as a group would be highly influential for every member.

  4. 1. Based on the Personality Color Test, I belonged to the Blue people. They are melancholic or the relater. I agree with the result of the test because I see myself as a person who value relationships.

    2. I am the type of person who always seek friendship and companionship. In new acquaintances, I'm always hoping to build friendship. But there were instances that, I just cant get along with other people. Maybe because we have different interests and different personalities. Its not easy relating to other people but one can adjust to the other in order to avoid conflicts. For example, Red people are goal oriented, they tend to be bossy and dominating. For me, relating to them is the most difficult because personally, I don't like the feeling of being dominated. But I think, I can adjust to them, I can avoid contradicting with their opinions. But I will explain my own opinion in such a way that they will not be offended. On the other hand, Yellow (fun-loving) and White (peacemaker) people are easy to be with. Being with them can ease stress and conflicts.

    3. Among the theories of personality, I agree most on the Behavioral Theory (Classical, Operant and Observational Conditioning) that environment play an important role in molding the personality of an individual. I believe that a person's personality can be conditioned and molded. A person can also acquire traits through observation.

    4. As a future teacher, I will definitely apply the Behavioral Theory to my students. Giving rewards to them if they are performing or cooperating as well as giving punishment whenever they fail to follow the rules. This way, students will learn discipline.

  5. 1. Describe your personality based on the results of the Color Test last meeting. Do you agree with the result?

I agree with the result of the color test. The outcome of the test was that, I am someone who is motivated by fun which coincides to YELLOW personality. I am someone who is always curious about something and would try to do it. I crave adventure and sometimes the recognition of the people around me, especially my mother.

    2. Personally, how will you improve relating with the different types of personality, such as, red, blue, white and yellow? Give specific examples.

As I am someone who is carefree and optimistic being with red who known for being a power wielders and a bit workaholic is a bit depressing on someone like me but I think if it is done in the right way being with ‘red people’ will somehow help us to be decisive in a particular situation because sometimes we, ‘yellow people’ is a bit indecisive. And likewise, we can make them realize that it is okay to have fun sometimes. As for being with ‘blue people’ who are regarded as people-oriented, I think they can influence me in dealing with people. And as for ‘white people’ who are the peacemakers and are neutral, there will be no conflict between us.

    3. Which of the different theories of personality (Behavioral, Humanistic, Trait, etc) do you agree? Explain.

I agree with some of the ideas in both Behavioral and Humanistic theories of personality but I think I agree more with Hippocrates’ theory of personality traits which says that there is four basic personalities, namely: Choleric, Melancholic, Sanguine and Phlegmatic. It is evidenced in our activity last time. Although, we people have known to have a lot of personality basing in our interaction with the people around us and how we are dealing with our everyday lives, there will still be a dominant personality that will be seen within us.

    4. With regards to your answer to number 3, how can you apply the theory in your classroom and/or with your students?

We all have different personalities that make us as a person, with that in mind, I as an educator would make sure to observe my students’ behavior to be able to know what personality they have or I could also conduct a personality test, and I think it would be best to have this people with different personality in a group to make them interact with the others, so that in the future they would know how could they deal with such people. They would know how to influence them and could also learn something from them.

  6. 1. According to the Color Test done in class during the previous meeting, I'm one of the "yellow" people. Yellow individuals/people are usually fun loving and doesn't want any stress in life. I personally believe that this test works for I consider yellow to be my favorite color since it reminds me of happy days. I also think that the description suits me best because in life I always choose to see the brighter side; when I'm faced with problems or dilemmas I would rather laugh it off and I have always lived in the principle that life is too short so we should always make the best out of it. Live the life you have and love the life you live.

    2. In relating with the "red" people since they are considered to be very goal-oriented they can be bossy and pushy at times so as a "yellow" person I can probably influence them to relax and take a breather. There's no need to be always in a rush and things will go smoothly if everyone is relax rather than being dominant and aggressive. With the "blue" and "white" people, I don't think that much is to be done - the "blue" people are very friendly and they can easily relate with others and the "white" people are considered to be the "peacemakers" so I believe that working with them will be easy. I think that as a "yellow" person I can easily socialize and open up with them thus we can all have an enjoyable and pleasant environment.

    3. When it comes to the theories of personality, I would have to go with the Big Five Personality Traits of Costa and Mccrae. In this theory, there are 5 broad dimensions or domains of personality that can be used to describe human personality. The acronym "OCEAN" which means openness, conscientiousness, extroversion, agreeableness and neuroticism is used and beneath each one is a cluster of related traits. I think that this can specifically describe our traits best for we can trace our traits without overlapping to the others. I highly favor this theory for I find it to be very detailed and consistent. For example, in the openness cluster I consider myself as imaginative rather than practical which means that I'm more creative and more aware of my feelings rather than the others who are conventional and traditional.

    4. I believe that I can apply the Big Five Personality Traits or Factors in my English classes specifically when it comes to group works. I can try to group those with similar traits together so they can exercise and pour out their creative juices without prejudicing the opinion of the other groups. In this way, the students won't be shy in expressing their ideas because they know that they are in a group where they belong. This will also enhance the students' ability to socialize.

  8. 1. Describe your personality based on the results of the Color Test last meeting. Do you agree with the result?
Based on the Color Test, my personality is classified more of melancholic type or the people-oriented type. I believed that this is true because one of my characteristics is being versatile so I can relate well with other people. I can adjust and adapt easily whoever group of people I am with.

    2. Personally, how will you improve relating with the different types of personality such as red, blue, white?
Relating with other types of personality is not an issue basically because I can adapt without difficulty with other people. Like the goal oriented individuals, I can relate to them by being supportive with their objectives in life and also by offering suggestions or opinions if needs arise. With the peace maker type, vis-à-vis people of blue-type personality, I also like to maintain peace and tranquility of urban life. With the fun-loving group of people, they are easy to be with since they are friendly, out-going and likes to be with other people.

    3. Which of the different theories of personality do you agree? Explain.
Among the different theories of personality, I agree more with the Behaviorist Theories (Skinner, Pavlov, Bandura). One major factor that influences the development of personality is the environment. Whatever we see and hear, we tend to emulate them, especially if it’s beneficial to us. Like our teachers who serves as our mentors. We admire them so much so that we adapt what they taught us. We even dream of becoming like them someday.

    4. With regards to your answer in no. 3, how can you apply the theory in your classroom and/or with your students?
Using the Behaviorist Theories of Personality, I can be a good model or example to my students. Furthermore, being consistent in the implementation of my rules and regulations inside the classroom will develop discipline and exude good moral behavior among my students.

    1. Describe your personality based on the results of the Color Test last meeting. Do you agree with the result?
    Answers:
White –“Peace Maker” – I want to have harmonious relationship with everybody as much as possible. I don’t want to be bothered or have the heavy feeling of uneased staying with me for a long time. I felt it is not a good way to start the day. My mother told me, if you do not have something good to tell a person, as much as possible, do not say it especially if you do not have proof or sure about it. I don’t want to be the cause of trouble, misunderstanding or a fight. I believe misunderstanding can be resolve or iron-out with open communication.
    2. Personally, how will you improve relating with the different types of personality, such as, red, blue, white and yellow? Give specific examples.
Red- (Bossy) - I will admire them as being goal-driven for “success” is not far within their reach. I will just remind them to pause once in a while and try to relax a bit for them not to lose their focus on what’s more important than material or financial gains.
Blue- I admire them for valuing relationship. I will advice them to set boundaries and limitations too.Example: Tricia and Sophia are friends. One time Sophia was not able to do her assignment. She ask help from Tricia. Tricia obliged. Then it becomes habitual. Sophia is becoming dependent on Tricia. She’s becoming lazy. Tricia may remind Sophia what’s happening and advice her not to abuse their friendship.
Yellow- “Fun-loving People” – It is nice to be with them for it uplifts your spirit. It is a feel good feeling for you tend to smile and laugh. Being fun-loving is nice but it must be also coupled with positive results in whatever they do, say, or think.
    3. Which of the different theories of personality (Behavioral, Humanistic, Trait, etc) do you agree. Explain.
Answer: I agree with Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs (Humanistic Theory), particularly in the “love and self-esteem” part. Because I believed that for you to be able to love others you must love and accept yourself first, so that, when you work with them despite the differences in characteristic, beliefs etc. you can go along with them. Also I believed that you should “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways submit to him, and he makes your path straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6). It is good to believe in oneself and be confident. You can have all the “successes” in all aspects of your life, just always remember the Lord – the Giver of Everything. Seek guidance. Use the “gift” given to you wisely. Learn to share.

    4. With regards to your answer to number 3, how can you apply the theory in your classroom and/or with your students?
Answer: I can say that this principle (#3 answer) will have the best example through a group work in a classroom. In teaching a lesson, you should consider to conduct activities that will show the personalities of your students. Traditional lectures or methods are good but students learns faster when they are active and their talents can be shown or enhance. These kind of activity will build up self-confidence and self-esteem. Example: Instead of teaching “Ibong Adarna” only through lecture, why not ask them to make a “play” out of it. Doing so, you will notice the different personalities of your students like who among them will be bossy, uncooperative, creative etc. Later on, you can assess their personalities and you can device ways and means to further improve it or change it with proper guidance and advices.

  10. 1.Describe your personality based on the results of the Color Test last meeting. Do you agree with the result?
RED- generally considered the “dominating personality” Feeling I have a Power, the ability to move from point A to point B, and get things done is what motivates and drives to other people. And I believe I can give a great vision of leadership. Generally being responsible, decisive, proactive and assertive.
    2. Personally, how will you improve relating with the different types of personality, such as, red, blue, white and yellow? Give specific examples.
Understanding the different personalities is important for us as individual. To give a better perspective of a person and how to react when faced with a stressful situation.
YELLOW- Sunniest personality-they are the most of the time loudest and most vocal among the four color personality. Happy-go-lucky type whom seem unable to take anything seriously. I will Embrace Life Like a Party  but at the same time I will pushed them to focus on their tasks/priorities in a fun and light-hearted way.
BLUE -These are the do-gooders. creating quality relationships and having purpose is what motivates and drives with these people. Working with them is to limit the risk level and I’ won’t push them to make a quick decision
WHITE-Peacemaker -accepting and open. - Well, to be a good listener in a diplomatic way and respect not to expect an Immediate answer to them by leaving alone to think first.
    3. Which of the different theories of personality (Behavioral, Humanistic, Trait, etc) do you agree. Explain.
I Believe in five core dimension of Personality Trait by McCrae and Costa.“OCEAN” Openness to Experience–creative & willing to try new things Conscientiousness – reliable, responsible, thorough, dependable, hard-working Extraversion – outgoing, social, active, talkative Agreeableness – easy to get along with, pleasant, sympathetic, warm, cooperative Neuroticism – emotional stability. Because Trait theory may seem logical and strait forward and strongly influenced by genetics.
    4. With regards to your answer to number 3, how can you apply the theory in your classroom and/or with your students?
As an Educators I will try different methods and ideas to take the lead and do what it takes to teach a lesson effectively. teach my students to have a self-discipline and drive toward accomplishment compassionate and cooperative as well as trusting and empathetic. Handling the stress situation and more open so they won't misinterpret the actions and statement of others, understand or know them better. And most off all I will take care of my students know what the best for them.

  11. 1. Describe your personality based on the results of the Color Test last meeting. Do you agree with the result?

    - The result of my personality test is WHITE-Peacemaker. I do agree with the result because I don't like complications with people surrounding me. I always choose to adjust depending on what kind of person I am with.

    2. Personally, how will you improve relating with the different types of personality, such as, red, blue, white and yellow? Give specific examples.
Red-They have a lot of aggression, energy, and/or passion, and try to instill that in others. They are task oriented people and are focused on getting a job done efficiently. However, they can quickly fall into deep depression and moodiness so as having white personality I will always inform them to take a break for them to gain good mood and to be able to finish their goals.

Yellow- They tend to enjoy social gatherings and generally struggle with following tasks and as having white personality I will tell them that need to be serious sometimes and be concern with others who want to finish their tasks because if not it might lead the other personalities be irritated with them.

Blue- Often they are perfectionists and can't decide immediately and so as having white personality I'll just let them to what they want because if I will push them to decide or do things immediately they will not feel contented

    3. Which of the different theories of personality (Behavioral, Humanistic, Trait, etc) do you agree. Explain.

    - I agree with Trait (choleric, melancholic, sanguine, phlegmatic) because it says that human being have different personalities where we can see now with our friends. Having different personalities and knowing which personality a person belong will be a great help in dealing with others.

    4. With regards to your answer to number 3, how can you apply the theory in your classroom and/or with your students?

    - As an educator, I will conduct a personality test and let them know on which personality they belong so that in a way they'll be able to know how to deal with their classmates in times they have group work or even outside the school, it will lessen the chances of misunderstanding people surrounding them.

  12. 1. Base on the result, I belong to the blue people. In a way I agree with the result because there are time I feel I want to be alone and there are time a feel like being surrounded by people I am comfortable with.

    2. I can say that there no specific way to relate with others since I belong to the people people. Whenever a big decision is to be made I always weight things first before giving an answer.

    3. I agree with the behaviorist because for me I learn things if there is something to motivate me or if I am going to get something in exchange to the effort i am exerting also there are people i look up to whom I want to exceed.

    4. Behavioral theory focuses on the reward, sanction and inspiration, by that I class I will always tell a story of people who work hard and achieved their goal also I will condition them just like how Pavlov condition his subject by alluring them with prices just to motivate them recite or study.

    1. According to the Color Test, I belong to the Blue group. It describes me as melancholic person who values his relationship with people. I agree with this in a way because I do value my relationship with people. I also like making friends with strangers which means that I like opening up relationships with other people.

    2. As of the moment I can say that I don’t have much problem relating with different people. Even so, I know that there are people out there that are hard to get along with. The best thing I can do is to understand other people. As long as I understand why they act in a certain way, I can have an insight on how to interact with them.
Regardless of what color a people may belong to, there are always people who seem to be extra challenging to handle. One example would be for people who are not familiar with manners or etiquettes. To be able to relate with them better, I must first know that they are doing things unintentionally. Maybe it is because they didn’t have a good education or some other reason. If they belong to either the red or yellow group, all I need to do is to take things slowly and win their trust. Perhaps try to figure out how to win them over and then eventually become closer to them as a friend.
For the white and blue group, I think it would be easier because white are naturally peace loving and the blue group are the people that I understand more because I belong there.

    3. Hippocrates’ Theory of Personality traits is something that catches my eye. I chose this because it simplifies the complicated behavior of human beings into four groups: Choleric, Melancholic, Sanguine, and Phlegmatic. Even though people show many different sides of themselves, eventually these four, depending on which group you belong to, are the dominant traits that can be seen on people.

    4. To apply this, I must first know well and understand my students. From there, I can determine which group they belong. I can treat them in such a way that compliments their group. When time comes I can easily know which activity can be done best with the class and how to talk to individual students about school and personal issues.
